2009 Call for Papers – Now Open!
Ingres User Group UK Conference 2009
9th June 2009, London (TBC) www.iua.org.ukI would like to announce the UK IUA 2009 Call for Papers
The theme for this year’s event is “Doing More With Even Less” so any papers relating to getting the most out of the Ingres Products would be very welcome.
The UK IUA Committee invites all Users and Suppliers of Ingres and OpenROAD related products and services to submit papers for presentation at this year’s annual conference which will take place on 9th June 2009 in Central London (Venue to be confirmed) For details of this year’s event, please visit the UK IUA website www.iua.org.uk
Over 140 attendees came to see a record number of high quality presentations at last year’s event, and with your assistance and contribution, we aim to make this years IUA Conference an even greater success.
The initial abstracts can be submitted in any widely accepted format, and final presentations should be in the form of PowerPoint or Open Office Impress. Please submit abstracts and papers for this event via email to Lin Bradbrook lin.a.bradbrook (at) iua.org.uk
DEADLINE: DON’T FORGET… Submissions must be received no later than Monday 20th April 2009 for voting and selection to be carried out by the conference paper selection committee. Notification of whether the paper has been selected or rejected will be received by Friday 8th May 2009.
Please feel free to submit papers on any Ingres and OpenROAD interest areas. Topics we are particularly interested in hearing from this year:
- Database
- Developer Forms
- Applications
- Migrations
- Open source
- Management
- Tools & Security
The deadline for the call for papers is Monday 20th April 2009. Papers submitted before this date will receive favourable attention from the committee. Any papers submitted after this date may not be included in the conference series. Accept or decline notification will be sent on Friday 8th May 2009.
